City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Technical Competence in Dog Walking Course

If you are a professional dog walker and would like to gain a qualification that helps you lead from the front.

Course Covers

  • Roles and responsibilities of a professional dog walker.
  • Legislation and Codes of Practice - Breeds and behaviours.
  • Walking and controlling a dog.
  • How to deal with problems, injuries and emergencies.

City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Technical Competence in Animal Health & Husbandry

This qualification covers the requirements laid out in the animal licensing regulations to ensure staff meet the requirements of section 4.2 of the guidance. This course is available in either Canine or Feline.

City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate of Technical Competence in Animal Nutrition Course

This qualification provides you with the opportunity to learn about the practical feeding and nutritional requirements of animals.

Course Covers

  • Feeding requirements of animals at different life stages and life styles

  • Nutritional values and properties of different food types

  • Use of additional foodstuffs and supplements

  • Presenting food and the effect on food intake

  • Diets plans for specific animals
